BRISTOL, Va., July 8, 2017 – United States National Pageants Organization® is proud to announce the crowning of our 2017 Miss United States, Rachael Todd of Florida! Todd was crowned at the Miss United States Pageant on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at the Omni Orlando Resort at Champions Gate which was broadcasted live on BoxCast.com.

Todd has made a full-time career in the Health and Wellness industry.  She is the national virtual instructor for Hotworx and a corporate consultant for Planet Beach Corporation. Todd feels her purpose is to use her voice to advocate and educate women with one on one coaching, group coaching, and corporate workshops and bring awareness to the importance of overall health, mindfulness, and wellbeing. Over the course of the next year, Todd will continue to advocate for her personal platform “Hunger in America – Changing the Way America Eats” and addressing the health crisis in our country. Additionally, Todd will also advocate for Child Life International, the official charitable cause of United States National Pageants.

Over the course of one week, contestants from across the country competed in a state costume runway competition, private interview, swimsuit, and evening gown with the top 16 advancing to the finals. Fans were able to vote for a People’s Choice contestant to take the 16th spot in the final competition prior to the pageant.

Rounding out the top 5 are: First Runner-Up Shannon Dresser of Texas, Second Runner-Up Shiobhan Fraser of Georgia, Third Runner-Up Shelby Kanani Johnson of Nevada, and Fourth Runner-Up Katie Mode of South Carolina.
